Southern Cross University has partnered with LEXSA and Atlas Lawyers to bring you this new service!
Southern Cross University has partnered with us, your Student Association and Atlas Lawyers to launch the SCU Student Financial Advice Service — a free service to help students get help managing your money from a licensed Financial Adviser. This new support service is available to all Southern Cross University students.
What can you get help with?
The Atlas Lawyers team can help with a range of topics such as:

• Tracking income vs. expenses
• Identifying spending leaks

• Goal-based saving (holiday, laptop, car)

• Comparing transaction vs. savings accounts
• Intro to debit vs. credit cards

• Why super matters, even for students
• Choosing a fund & consolidating small balances

Financial Wellbeing & Scams
• Stress-management techniques
• Spotting phishing and financial scams

Preparing for Graduation
• Setting financial goals for first full-time role
• Understanding employer super & payslips
You can access up to 3 x 20 minute consultations per topic.
How it works:

Appointments can be made through the Atlas Lawyers portal
You can also download the Atlas Group App for iOS and Android if you are on a mobile device. (Follow pop-up instructions) -
Consultations are available in person at Gold Coast, Lismore and Coffs Harbour campuses, by phone or online via Microsoft Teams

On your first visit click “start now” at bottom of page and create an account with your SCU email. Students will be able to manage their appointments through the portal.
