Office Group Discussion

LEXSA manages three Common Rooms on Lismore Campus located in Goodman Plaza, A and Z Blocks.

Each is a share space for all current students of Southern Cross University so respect for the space, other students and the amenities that are provided is expected.

Students can use the fridges, hot drink supplies and facilities, sandwich makers and microwaves, crockery, cutlery and glassware. Please clean up after yourself. If cleaning supplies are low, speak with staff in the LEXSA Office.

The Plaza Common Room is open 24 hours-  students will need their student card to access the room after hours (6pm to 9am).

This room is dedicated to current Southern Cross University students who are parents.

Located within the Plaza Common Room there are facilities available for parents including a change table and nursing chair, as well as toys and games so the kids can play for a bit. Nappies and wipes are available from the staff in the LEXSA Office if you run low.

Students can access this room through the Plaza Common Room.

Sanitary items are available at LEXSA & in the Goodman Plaza & Z Block Common Rooms including free condoms, tampons, pads, and other hygiene products.

Ask the friendly LEXSA Staff if they can supply the item you need, especially if supplies are low or have run out in the Common Rooms.

Southern Cross University Students can pick up food essentials and snacks from the LEXSA office daily, during opening hours.

We also have toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes and deodorant.

LEXSA has complimentary guest passes to the SCU Gym and Pool to be used by SCU students.

Students can pick up a pass on Tuesdays from the LEXSA Office.

The passes are valid for one visit, within staffed hours, only one pass per student is available each week.

Is your phone battery about to die? We have phone chargers!

You can leave your phone in the office with LEXSA Staff, or charge it while you print, during office hours.

LEXSA provides workshops with Endorphina Creative where students can practice mindfulness, improve their focus and inner well-being,  reduce stress and anxiety.
