Southern Cross University students, you're invited to share your thoughts on SSAF (Student Services and Amenities Fee) and how you would like it spent.
The SSAF paid by students raises approximately $3.5–4 million for non-academic services. Previously, it has funded:
Wellness activities and resources
Subsidies for university sporting events
Student associations that provide food, advocacy, events, printing, childcare support and more
LEXSA, the Student Association on Lismore Campus for campus-based and online students is SSAF-funded. Some of our most popular services include:
Free lunches through the week, especially the $5 Cafe Vouchers
Student Food Pantry and chocolate jar in our office
Online Grocery vouchers for students who can't access campus
Competitions with a variety of prizes, including $10 Coles Vouchers to give students another way to purchase essential products
Larger on-campus events like our Member's Fest, Stress Less Week, Birthday Celebrations, after-hours Paint and Pasta event, End of Year Fest (party) and online trivia and painting workshops
Student Clubs and Societies events and facilities on campus and online
It's important to fill out the survey and help the university use SSAF on what you need as a student. Your feedback will impact the future of SSAF.
