World Nature Conservation Day was founded in 1972 to help protect Earth's natural resources: air, sunlight, soil, minerals, fuels and waters. Greenpeace suggests the following activities for a better future for the Earth:
🌳 volunteer in your community's environmental activities, like Landcare, Dunecare, Clean Up Australia Day etc,
🌳 donate - this could again be your time, items around your home that you're no longer using, or money if you can afford it,
🌳 stay informed, educate yourself and spread awareness,
🌳 switch to more sustainable practices, e.g. solar power,
