About The Event

Southern Cross University Students - your chance to win a Coles Voucher each week!

World Emoji Day is on Wednesday 17th July because that is the date shown on the calendar emoji! The main purpose of World Emoji Day in Australia is to celebrate the popularity and usefulness of emojis in modern communication. The day encourages people to use emojis to express themselves and connect with others across digital platforms.

The first World Emoji Day was established in 2014 by Jeremy Burge, the founder of Emojipedia. It initially started as an online celebration on social media, but its popularity quickly grew.

For a chance to win 1 of 10 $10 Coles Vouchers you can enter by sharing the first 5 emojis on your phone (the ones you use the most).

If you are using your phone to enter the competition, this should be easy! If you're using your laptop or desktop computer, right click in the answer box, select 'Emoji' from the top of the list and type the name of the emoji. Click on the one you want and then type the next emoji name to continue.

Su in the LEXSA Office has these top 5 emojis on her phone:

All students of Southern Cross University are invited to enter. You don't have to be a LEXSA Member for these Weekly Student Competitions.

Good luck to everyone!

*This competition is for current Southern Cross University students, competition runs from Monday, 15th to Sunday, 21st of July 2024. 10 x winners contacted from Monday, 22nd of July 2024.
