LEXSA Members Booklovers Giveaway!

Sunday 8th of September was International Literacy Day, celebrated for the first time in 1967, to remind policy-makers, practitioners, and the public of the critical importance of literacy for creating more literate, just, peaceful, and sustainable society.

Literacy is a fundamental human right for all. It opens the door to the enjoyment of other human rights, greater freedoms, and global citizenship. Literacy is a foundation for people to acquire broader knowledge, skills, values, attitudes, and behaviours to foster a culture of lasting peace based on respect for equality and non-discrimination, the rule of law, solidarity, justice, diversity, and tolerance and to build harmonious relations with oneself, other people and the planet. For this giveaway we're providing LEXSA Members with digital resources for the booklovers, including a suggested book reading list, book log, book-themed colouring-in sheet and book review sheet. • You must be a current Southern Cross University student who is a 2024 LEXSA Member. Students can register for LEXSA online here or drop by our office: Shop 11b Goodman Plaza. Students must renew their membership each year. If you aren't sure if your membership is up to date, please email us to find out - info@lexsa.com.au 
• Only 1 Student per registration
