Mending Workshop

Bring your sewing pile with you this Thursday for our Darning and Mending Workshop! It'll be hosted after our Relax, Create, Reactivate Workshops on-campus.

Southern Cross University students, you're invited to join us for a one-off mending workshop this Thursday to learn some basic hand-sewing skills to help you mend holes in your clothes, sew buttons back on, take up a hem and add other skills to your repertoire.

Bring along any items you have at home that you've been 'meaning to get fixed' (or take home for your mum, nan or other crafty family member to do for you). We'll supply the needles, thread, scissors and pins to help you save some money and get back to wearing those holy socks, button-less shirts and pants that are just a little too long!

Come along on Thursday after the RCR Workshops finish, from 1:30pm under the umbrella outside the LEXSA Office. That gives you time to heat up your soup, also available from the LEXSA Office on Thursdays.

These crafting activities are hosted on Lismore campus.
