The Local and SCU Muslim community is observing their Holy month of Ramadan to commemorate the first revelation of the Holy Quran, become righteous and God-fearing and practice it throughout the year. During the month, they fast between sunrise and sunset – eating no food and drinking no liquids.

To share the spirit of Ramadan, every year local Muslim community along with SCU Muslim students invite everyone in a big Ifter and dinner, regardless of their religious or spiritual background. At the end of Ramadan, the Muslim students share greetings and food to celebrate a festival called “Eid”. But these have been paused due to pandemic from last year.
